The order of events for homecoming tomorrow is as follows:
1. Homecoming ceremony @ 5:30 PM
2. Boys' game
3. Girls' game
4. HS dance
Any student who wears Verona colors will get in free to the game. Dance tickets can still be bought at the door!
Fourth grade had a great day celebrating friendship! We had fun at our friendship party, and it was twin day!

Due to inclement weather, Verona School District will be closed for in-person learning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, 2025. However, learning will continue as an AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) Day.
🔹 Attendance will be taken.
🔹 Elementary students should complete Day 1 of their AMI packets.
🔹 High school students must follow the AMI schedule (see picture below).
ALL High School Students are expected to:
✅ Log in to each Google Classroom and attend class virtually.
✅ Have their cameras on while in class with their teacher.
✅ Actively Participate in class and stay engaged.

Ms. Edwards' and Mrs. Conaway's classes visited with Office Douglas and officers of the Mt. Vernon Police Department. Our students packed them goodies bags for Valentine's Day to thank them for their service! Students were so excited to sit in the D.A.R.E. Hummer!

Mrs. Phillips' 4th grade class recently had fun creating their own countries! The groups each chose a name, created a flag, and determined the basic government and economy. The 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade classes came and voted for the country in which they would choose to live.
