Third grade had fun at the Hiland Kids Day! The Drury Lady Panthers got the win in double overtime, and the kids went crazy when the score was tied at 67!
Mrs. Phillips' class is excited for the field trip to watch the Drury Lady Panthers! They worked hard on their posters yesterday! It's going to be a great day!

We had a great week in 3rd grade! We learned about static electricity and magnetism, constructed turkey traps, and received new dictionaries from the Mt Vernon Rotary Club.

Last week, we cashed in on all our positive behavior points for a special reward: Pass the Parcel! This wasn't just about winning a prize (though that was exciting!); it was a celebration of every time a friend shared, followed directions the first time, or used kind words.
The joy, patience, and cheers for one another showed us that the real reward is the amazing classroom family we've built. So proud of every single student!
