First 2 days of summer school! Bug juice, bugs in blankets and a jar full of bugs! Lots of fun! Part 1

The first day of Summer School was a success! The 4th and 5th graders learned about oral hygiene, prepared cheesecake for snacks, made raised salt paintings, and enjoyed the outdoors. We had a great day!

Mrs. Conaway's and Mrs. Shook's classes made "Rocko" The Rock Snake and set him up at the Lions Club Park in Verona. The community is encouraged to make their own painted rock and see how long "Rocko" can get!

Field day was such a big hit for kindergarten and preschool!

Our kindergarten learners rocked it with **awesome attendance and behavior**—so we treated them to a **reward trip to Diamond Grove**! 🌟 From giggles to adventures, today was all about fun, friendship, and celebrating their hard work. - Shout out to parents: *"Thank you for supporting your amazing learners!"*

Verona R-VII School District Seeks Custodial-Maintenance Director VERONA, MO — The Verona R-VII School District is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Custodial-Maintenance Director. This is a year-round, twelve-month role that plays a vital part in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the district’s facilities and grounds. The Custodial-Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing all custodial and maintenance operations across the district. This includes supervision of staff, planning and implementation of maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all district buildings and outdoor spaces remain safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and the community. The position reports directly to the Superintendent. Verona schools will dismiss Monday, May 19 at 2 PM. This decision was made in order to get students and staff safely home before the severe weather hits. There are two school trips off campus and they will be back on campus by 1:30. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fourth grade has been having a fun morning at field day! Thanks to Coach Well and all of his helpers for organizing this. We will have more fun this afternoon!
