Verona schools will dismiss Monday, May 19 at 2 PM. This decision was made in order to get students and staff safely home before the severe weather hits. There are two school trips off campus and they will be back on campus by 1:30. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Monday is Field Day for K-6th graders!! We want the kiddos to have as much fun as possible while also getting great exercise! Please remember to have your children prepared for all the heat and activities with sunblock, water bottles, and good rest. The children will need to be well hydrated PRIOR to field day and the best source for hydration is water!! The number one reason children come to my office during field day is dehydration symptoms. 🎉 End of Year Things to Remember! 🎉
As we wrap up another year, here are a few important things to keep in mind.
2nd grade had such a great day on their field trip today.
Students in Mrs. Shook's class have been learning about the butterfly life cycle. We have watched in our classroom as they went from caterpillars to in their chrysalis and finally butterflies. This morning, we were able to take them outside to release. 🦋
