As we are moving into the allergy and cold/flu season we need to be more aware of germs and how they spread.
Influenza A and B viruses travel through the air in droplets when someone with the infection coughs, sneezes or talks. You can inhale the droplets directly. Or you can pick up the germs from an object—such as a telephone or computer keyboard—and then transfer them to your eyes, nose or mouth.
Wearing a mask while having symptoms (ex. coughing or sneezing) may help block respiratory droplets carrying germs and prevent the spread of germs from the hands to the mouth.
We would like to recommend to students and staff that if you are having symptoms such as coughing, sneezing or runny nose that you wear a mask. By wearing a mask we may help prevent illness from spreading to other.

5th grade enjoyed a shadow walk this afternoon and creating different shadows.

6th grade is fitting Thanksgiving words into rhythmic patterns this week! Ask your students to clap and say words from their lists!

In celebration of American Enterprise Day, Verona FBLA members
were encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue. The chapter also sponsored an essay contest for middle level members.
