The Cheri Nash Softball Tournament for April 29th has been moved to Exeter. Times will be the same.

Verona track meet at Mt. Vernon has been cancelled for today, April 27th.

Verona softball game at Billings has been cancelled for today, April 27th.

Verona schools apologizes for the inconvenience. However, Bus 1 has broken down and they are trying to get a new bus out there as soon as possible. There will be a delay picking up your students. The school is trying to contact families.

It is State Testing Time! Grades 3 - 8 will spend the mornings of April 25th - May 4th completing the MAP Test. Please make sure they get a good night's sleep and enjoy breakfast each day!


Today's high school baseball game will start at 4:30. Softball and Junior High baseball will continue as scheduled.

Excellent performance by our bands tonight. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Ogden working with our students. Her care and effort is clear when we hear the students play.




This week in Mrs. Neely's Practial Living class, students learnd to completely debone a whole chicken. Then learned how to bread and fry their chicken.





Title Family Night is happening now. Come have game time, eat frito pie, and browse books.





First Grade learned about Brazil for the Multicultural Fair!





Mr Stumbaugh's American History 8th graders took a trip to Wilson's Creek National Battlefield. They had a great time learning about the experiences of all those involved.






Fourth graders participated in a Kubb tournament this morning. Kubb is a game invented and played in Sweden.





Tomorrow is the day! Please join us at the Stomp, Gold Band, and Purple Band concert at 6pm on April 21st, in the new gym.
Students should be there "ready to play" at 5:30pm.
Gold and Purple Band members must wear concert black.
Stomp members should wear jeans and a Verona/black shirt.
