Mrs. Shook's class enjoyed learning about butterflies by watching our own caterpillars turn into butterflies.
Congratulations!
After measuring caterpillars, watching the caterpillars form a chrysalis, and watching the emerge from their cocoons, Preschool and Kindergarten released the butterflies.
The 8th graders from Mr Stumbaugh's American History class along with Mr E took a trip to Wilson's Creek Battlefield today! They had a great time learning about the battle and Civil War.

Today the high school band members performed their solos for retired band directors John and Carolinn Devos. This allowed them to get specific feedback on their playing and hopefully learn a few new things!!
We would like to congratulate our HS Academic Team for placing 2nd in our District Tournament on April 13th. Amelia Freiburger also received a medal for the All District Team.

Fourth grade had so much fun watching the solar eclipse today! We don't experience these often so we were lucky to see it!
Mrs. Barnett, Mr. Chang, Mrs. Shook, and Mr. Stumbaugh's classes finished up their community project by planting bee and butterfly attracting plants at Cannon Park. Earlier this year, we held a fundraiser to buy the plants by selling flower seeds for the community.
