
October starts all things pumpkin for preschool! Today, we carved our pumpkin that we will watch decompose and hopefully grow for next year. We felt him, tasted him, and smelt him. Meet Mr. P!
Then we started new center time.... it even had shaving cream!











Congratulations to the Elementary Character Kids for the month of September. They were selected by their peers for showing Self-Control.





Kindergarten had a terrific time celebrating the letter T with a Teddy Bear Tea Party! We sipped tea with friends, made patterns, letters, and numbers with Teddy Grahams, and even practiced our fine motor skills by creating beautiful jeweled crowns. It was so much fun!

Week of September 29th-October 5th


1st grade celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday today by making applesauce.










7th grade is learning about personal finance and tracking their cash flow in Mrs. Neely's Life Skills class.



Flu Shot Clinic - Oct 7th from 7:24 -8:30 a.m.
Permission Slips are being sent home today. If you would like your child to participate, the permission form must be returned by October 3rd.

We had a small scavenger hunt in preschool today as we learn about fall. Then, we painted some leaves out of our hands. Fall is our favorite time, according to almost all of them.🧡






Bus 2 is running behind, but the students are being taken home. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Coats for Kids New Coat Distribution is this Saturday, September 28th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Child must be present to receive a coat. There are no other requirements to participate. Gently used coats are can be donated for adults.

Our district routinely conducts emergency drills. Our intent is to prepare students and staff to calmly and consistently execute their safety plan, while keeping perspective that this is only practice. Today we successfully conducted our first drill, a fire drill.

Tomorrow will be the last day to turn in consents for the Dental Fluoride and Sealant services from the Missouri Dept of Health. They will be on campus this Wednesday for all K-12 students, with consents, to receive free fluoride and dental sealants. Email Nurse Shara with any questions syandall@veronar7.net
